Bookkeeper

Start Date : Immediately, starting with a training period.

Employment : 30-40 hours per week. Permanent, year around.

Duties: All aspects of accounting, including: A/P, A/R, payroll, maintenance of benefit program, non-resident revenue accounting, GST & tax accounts, bank recs, banking, budget preparation. Assist with hiring and working with department heads and with Front Desk / phone relief when required. Interface with external contacts such as company accountants, government auditors, lawyers, suppliers and related entities. Ability to deal effectively with all types of individual and personalities. Excellent problem solving skills. Good computer knowledge. Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision.

Knowledge and Critical Skills / Experience :

·   Proven accounting / book keeping experience with QuickBooks / Sage 50

·   Knowledge of front office systems, MS Office Suite,

·   Advanced communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

·   Previous hotel experience would be considered an asset

·   Experience with Resort Data Processing Hotel software or Crystal Reports would be a bonus

·   Property management / strata building experience would also be considered an asset

Front Desk Agents

Position Description

Responsibilities
Greeting of guests, answering phone calls on a multi-line switchboard, check in and check out of guests, basic reception duties, making guest reservations. Seasonal position, part time evening position starting July 2016.

Qualifications:

  • A secondary school diploma is preferred
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Professional attitude is required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous front desk experience is an asset
  • Good communication skills are an asset

Salary:

$12.00 per hour

Housekeeping Attendants

Position Description

Responsibilities
Stock and sort supplies. Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms. Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries. Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards. Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests. Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. vacuum common areas) as required. Assist with laundry. Seasonal position(s) with potential to develop into year-round housekeeping supervisor position.
